Looks like the weather gods are on our side....dry,sunny intervals with a gusty 3mph s/w wind

winter fishing sucks

Got to the Eggy Ferry a little early to be greeted by the smell of bacon frying....

Tony1 and Keith had fished low water at Vale Park where they had a nice mixed bag of whiting, dabs, flounder, plaice n dogs, but their minds were on breakfast now.....

Cheers for the bacon barm,i timed my arrival to perfection
Tommy and Tony were also on parade early...

We made our way towards the steps but there was a few locals out in the better area so we had to stop short...not to worry, the weather was nice n sunny and we were gunna enjoy ourselves whatever happened...
Terry with the lads Robbie n Joe...

Tony1 and Keith....

Anton and Thomas would be the days conservationists

I had the pleasure of fishing next to Ian....

And Steve.....

Kajydog made the journey from Huddersfield...very nice to meet you laaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Joe Neal was a late arrival and had a nice plaice on his first chuck (sorry missed the pic opportunity)

Tony was also in to a nice spotty early doors, weighing 1-2-0

The crew.....

Robbie had what i think was a plaice when i was on walkabout (see pic later) and also took a couple of huge whiting

Towards high water the fish fed better and Tony1 had a dab....

Even i managed to snare half a dozen baby whiting n codling...

Zig n Zag were on form....

The Douglas family cam to say hello...Chris,Andrew and Brogan

The bragging rights were with Robbie until younger brother Joe took the biggest fish of the day with this doggy....

The fishing was pretty poor as expected for that stretch, but the sun was shining and as ever it was good to meet faces old n new......you won`t catch me on a prom again this winter, but if anyone wants to tag along to any fishing sessions just keep an eye on the sessions section...the more the merrier...til next time girls

Hi all
Yeah had a great time too. Just put a little report in about today, ( probably the wrong section) Cheers again Kev, will def be coming to another one of these meets, just have to get there at the meet and not be seperated again, still it must have been the great atmosphere that helped me to "AT LAST" break my duck. Cheers All.

It was great to be out again, and fishing next to the master - master knitter that is!
Good to put faces to names and see a few fish caught. After Kev and Ste left I had another couple of pin whiting but packed up when Sunday lunch beckoned
I`m looking forward to the next one, tho I fancy a night session cos I wanna catch summat to take home and eat
