I had planned on meeting up with Terry,Robbie and Joe who i had met at Perch Rock a couple of weeks ago,to spend a bit of time showing them rigs n stuff as they are new to the game....it`s easier to do so on a prom in daylight. Might as well make it a fish n meet for anyone else who wants to come along to put faces to names,have a gas about rigs n baits,and see if we can snare a fish or two. High water is 2pm so i`ll be at the car park by the Eggy Ferry pub(Bottom of Tobin St) for 11am...walk down to the steps around 11.30am and fish til around 3pm.Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along and it`s free

ad a look at weather 4 that day and i may have to wear flip flops an shorts .
is lug & mac ok 4 that venue? , {at my age all help gratefully excepted thanks }

yeah lug ,mack are the main baits...unlikely to see any rays off that prom but a sandeel might snare a doggy

As Ian has pointed out there is no driving/parking allowed on the prom....parking is best at the Eggy Ferry pub at the bottom of Tobin St and walk along the prom.

I have a full rig wallet....1 up 1 downs...dropper rigs...clipped down pennels...portsmouth rigs...up n over rigs...pulley pennels....don`t be afraid to ask if you want to see how i make mine,same goes with the other lads,we are there to help if we can and as we all do things differently you can pick up little tips here and there.....setting multipliers up/casting e.t.c i`m no expert but i`m not a bad caster and rarely have any probs with my reels,so if you have a prob ask the question
