Directions:- Cross over to the island via the Britannia Bridge (A55). Turn off at the first exit (A4080) and drive in the direction of Brynsiencyn, going past Plas Newydd stately home for about 1.7 miles to the first cross roads. Turn left (signed Moel-Y-Don) and follow the lane to the end.

Moel-Y-Don has two slip ways. On either side of the point itself are sandbanks which produce dabs, flounder and plaice. On the left hand side near the rocks you get the odd bass. In the main channel itself there are dogfish and whiting all year with codling and coalies all year.
