This morning Dave picked Mathew and me up in early morning and headed to the Damhead Fisher at Wirral. We arrived there at 5:45am, the mist, lily pads and the mirror calm lake formed a fantastic scene which only happened in my dream.
We chose pegs which got lily pads close in and we caught skimmers, crucians and roachs steadily. As the sun went straight to my eyes, I gave up the lily pads and moved to an open water peg with no features in shadow. Surpringly, the sport there was even better! I managed 9 breams around 2lb mark and a skimmer a chuck through out the session.

Dave said the sport there normally much better, last them there he managed 40+ crucians, skimmer bream, roachs which add up to 200+ fish. That fishery is quite good for beginners as 2M out it's already 4.5 feet flat out, and the lily pads is only 4M in front of you.
