What happened their then
aluminium spool .
had a similar thig with my Century rod down Bristol Channel the rod is a LD with the old BMG rings and the tip rig's inner had split / causing it to either shred the line or just cut it during the cast .
you have put £70 is that the cost of a new spool ????
