Small tides and easterly winds all week so it's my first plaice hunt...looking to break the 2lb barrier fishing from 12.30pm down to low at 4.30pm....frozen blacks do the business if anyone fancies it.....solunar charts say the fishing will be very good.

Decided on West End beach,as we`ll have more space (Broadway will prob` be busy) and get longer fishing til @7pm...hopefully the spotties will be hungry.

fished it the other week kev a few fish on the down 2hrs before more fish on the flood at this venue (west end) 4/5 day old black top bait i find for the plaice.i had 14 plaice 1 bass a few plaice prob 40cm plus although i ddnt have my measure. mornings usually produce better results i find .good luck hope you get a few

Cheers Dale....i tend to stick with frozen black and usually snare a few....looking forward to an easy session for a change
