Don't be a pussy!!!
The very best barbel & chub fishing is in the depths of winter!
The fish are in their best condition, at their biggest weights between now
and March, and an extra bonus........not as many noddies trying to
catch them, which means more space/choice for us die hards!
Just wait for a slightly warmer spell, usually coincides with a swollen river,
let the river start to drop...and then go bag up!!!!!
Will send you a PM if I manage to get myself to Samlesbury for a sesh!
Mmmmm......must take my own advice this year too!

Can I take a beach rod, seem to catch undersize fish with that, and before anyone else says owt, AT LEAST I DO CATCH SOMETHING!!!
