BLAS Centenary Match

Fished the match today. I drew a peg at a place called Toad Hall,. When we arived it was covered in Cow $hite (wellies highly recomended). Anyway i had 6 bites all day caught 2 fish and froze to death . Well done to Stan, winning the match With over 8Lbs of fish on our club pond, (scabbed a 6Lb carp out on last cast ). So we have re-named the venue Turd Hall .

Cheeky sod Shacky!! Fact is, I'd already been done by a good carp, whilst catching 2oz skimmers on 1.5lbs bottom & 3's laccy! So when the skimmers went quiet for a second time, I stepped up to a heavier rig, and hey presto!!!! Just 'cause it came on the last chuck, with only 4 mins to go, everyone seems to think it's a fluke!! I like to think that it's due to correct feeding of my swim, on what was a very hard day.

I must say, I was watching him and he did, go for the decent fish in the last 15 mins or so, but up to Stan getting that fish, I was beating him , and he did fish well

Fancy taking your laptop with you, on a family holiday. Can't you stand 2 weeks away from this website!!??
By the way, you know what they say, the more you practise, the luckier you get.........except in your case.
