Boat Rod Purchase

Anyone got any recommendations on a decent general boat fishing rod? Also looking for a well matched reel too.

Daiwa kenzaki cracking rods matched to a saltist reel or even better a saltiga if you aren't bothered about paying a bit more or an avet or accurate

Depends a lot on your budget and the type of boat fishing you intend to do mostly,uptide/downtide/lure fishing on wrecks.

As Ken says, it depends upon your budget.

But if you are interested, I have a Storm Raider 7ft 20-30lb class rod (unused with manufacturers tag still attached) together with a Storm Ricochet 300 multiplier with level wind which has only been used once by a mate on a boat trip for sale at £30 + p&p.
