September Meet......Saturday 1st

We have`nt had one for a while so i thought i`d put one on before i shoot off to Sharma for a couple of weeks rest....We will be fishing 2 marks,firstly looking for rays at Perch Rock from 5am til 8am (low water 7am)....secondly fishing the flood on Harrison Drive from 10.15am til 1.30pm (high water 12.30pm). The Seaside cafe on the front looks good for a brekky after Perch Rock for the early risers.

Meet at the fort at 4.30am for those who fancy it,or @ 9.30am by the T-Groyne on the Drive for those who just fancy fishing the flood....The rays show a liking for squid,sandeel,mack,bluey either on their own or in a cocktail/wrap.....the Drive has thrown up a fair number of school bass this year,and blow lug has appeared to be the best bait...the odd flatty should put in an appearance also

Can't go Saturday I'm putting on a music festival in Vale Park that day. Why not come along after the fishing, it goes on until 6pm.

Get the lug as fresh as you can.Lug works better than crab on the drive.Just make sure its big and juicy.

I would`nt bother with crab at all....if there`s bass around they`ll take lug.

4 hours before high water should give you about an hour to get enough.
