Century Tip Tornado Grand Prix

Post by Stanjagman »

Hi guys,
I have a chance to pick one of these up for sensible money, but I am not sure if it is a "proper, usable fishing rod" or just an unforgiving casting pole.
Can any of you lads pass on any advice please?
Thanks in advance

I had one... According to Century they were good for about 100 full blown tournament casts before "Delamination" could set in..(I have the E-Mail from them about it somewhere). No way under fishing conditions would the rod be put under any real stress..

Right the rod... Unless your prepared to pull your shoulder out eveytime you get it wrong don't bother! but once mastered and coupled with a Mag converted ABU rocket It'll go for miles.....
One more thing.. Bite indication at long range is non-existent. :D
