Match Report- Sun 6.2.11, 1st round of 2011 P.M.s Championship, Maddock Bank, Wallasey (25 rods).


February is one of the least productive months for sport in the Mersey and this match did not buck the trend with small codling providing what sport there was on a windy evening.
N.W.A.S.A.C. President John Williams needed only three fish to win this curtain raiser for an early series lead. Ragworm was the successful bait, John fished the downriver end of the venue, Zone A.
