quiet pool

Do you have a favorite venue for Carp ,tench, bream fishing, if so then pass on as much information in this test section of WSF.

quiet pool

Post by mal wynne »

today because of the huge tides I thought I,d have a change and go coarse fishing , so I went to a local club water that virtually nobody fishes because they have to walk across a couple of fields to get there and I don,t mind a bit of a walk , as expected there was nobody there and I had my pick of swims

so I settled down under some trees and tackled up , first cast I had a perch of about half a pound and in the next 2 hours had a couple of dozen more , then later I went for a look along the bank and saw a shoal of nice rudd on the top so I moved to within casting distance and took 7or8 nice ones up to about 12 ounces off the top , all fish came on maggot on the waggler , made a nice change and best of all it,s about a mile from my house as the crow flies ., :)
