will the top section of 13foot sandstorm multy fit in the 13foot fixspool bottom section

Have you snapped the tip of the fixed spool rod?

I think the blanks should be the same but the rings of the multiplier rod will be smaller. You might have trouble with line catching where the ring size drops quickly if you're using it as a fixed spool still.
