I was all ready to go, the weather forcast was good.....Until, i walked to my car to see it covered in frost
Knowing this, i had a feeling it would be a bit slow. My short journey was uneventful and i arived with plenty of time to get fueled up 
The place was packed, but got served with my bacon butty and coffee within a minute. A natter was on the cards, to catch up on the gossip...
Matty and Phil (Humpalumpa) were in fine voice...
The lake looked quite good, The water vegitation still had some to grow...
The raffle was drawn and humpalumpa had won for the second week running. Then it was huddle time...
Chris and Brian drew the flyers, while the rest of us had the also rans. I made my way to my peg (11) and decided on a two swim aproach. For me needless to say, the fishing was pants
I managed one ide in five hours. A different method was needed, so the long pole was employed...
I scrounged a few pieces of corn off Kammy and set to work. The other guys either side of me were catching the odd fish...
The long pole was working for most people around me. With time running out, the bites started to come...
I managed a couple of Carp, just to keep my mojo motivated
Then...The match ended.
The guys on the corner seemed to do better...
The winner on my section was Kammy on peg 10....Well Done
Chris on peg 18 won the match....Excellent Jobby, top rod
He was pleased as punch...
Now he is thinking what to spend his winnings on, at the tackle shop
