Bidston Moss Overflow

I have recently returned to the area after living away for many years and wish to start fishing again. I was wondering if anyone has any solid information on the Overflow at Bidston. I live by the footpath and I used to fish it as a kid up until 1997. I used to take some fairly big hauls (30/40lb) of roach/rudd out of there and some nice perch (3lb). I never took a carp nor any eels out and nor did I see anyone else. If anyone has any reliable info on the place I'd be grateful.

It was a hybrid roach/shopping trolley... I've just been down there for a couple of hours fishing brandlings on a waggler and blanked (it was a half oops affair), but I did see a carp of about 8-10lb jump and swim right in front of me. I've never seen a carp in there before today. The place is oops though, full of trolleys and oops.
