Guernsey league winner

Post by heather »

As the winner of the northwest league, Bill Lindfield won the Guernsey Qualifying heat for NW. This consists of being flown out to Guernsey put into all expences paid hotel, taken by boat to the isle of Herne for 2 days fishing with local guides.
A gala dinner presentation completes this fantastic 4 days before being flown home.
Bill has won this trip for the 3rd time and say's it is a fantastic trip.
However this year the dates clashes with the Diawa pairs an 8 day tournament in Southern Ireland which Bill has commited to,
Therefore the Guernsey event will be passed down to the next position in the league.

I have just confirmed with Shaun Ripley ( jag's) that as runner up in the summer league he will replace Bill and fly out to Guernsey on the 17th Sept returning on the 21st for one of the NFSA most pestigious events. 8) 8) :D :D
I am sure Jag's will have a super time in representing the anglers of the NWASAC and I am sure he will have many stories to tell us on his return. :D

Bill has asked jags to take some photo's & do a report on the trip when he gets back, so we will look forward to that.
 By the way Jags if you need a Bazooka to carry & protect your rods for the plane, I have a spare one you can borrow. ;)
