Im guessing match rods mean more tippy for showing bites? ;)they have a floppy top section that can rattle with a butterfish on .

But withh a top section as sensitive as that is it more likely to be nodding in a swell? Or is that more to do with the mid section of the rod?
Money I'm guessing upto £300ish, I don't mind spending the money "if" its worth spending the extra for, and I end up only spending once.
As for the kind of fishing, mosty beach work with the occassional rock mark.
Will definately go for a wander to Macmans next week when Im off. Been reading all of the rod reviews I can find some have been very useful especially as there are alot of new makes since the last time i was shopping for a rod.
Cheers Matt
for the fishing you will be doing you cant go far wrong with the zipplex prima synchro excellent for rock marks and beach fishing at distance bite detection is excellent in windy conditions with the rod pulled tight(no side way sways off the wind )like other rods i have used and seen on the beach the beef you have in the rod gets them wrasse away from there holes on the rock marks
if you want to try one out before you buy one i can let you use mine if you can get out when i fishing sometime.
