I Got there 2 hrs before the low and set up. What a glorious day. And yes I had my lucky hat on.
Tactics for today, 2 hook Flappers, long snoods with red,yellow and black beads size 2 hooks. Bait Black lug tipwith strips of squid. The rods where set up and cast out.
A jet skier appeared to shatter the silence and P***ss me off
. Luckily he only stayed for half an hour. I was straight into fish with a blank saving 8oz whiting.
A good start however, it went quiet until after the low. The River kept me amused.

I continued to catch lots of small to medium dabs but mister plaice was not playing out
