The Caldy Session

Post by Steve Duffy »

I questioned my sanity, while getting ready for a session at Caldy this morning. The wind was a howling southerly, bringing in lashings of rain.Twas only the fact of having some boss ragworm from Macman, and a new rod which I wanted to thrash to within an inch of its life that got me out the door.

2 hours before and the water was almost up to the rocks.

At first I thought I would spend most of my time talking to BDF's mate  ;)

Then this 30cm flounder ( Big Kev to verify  ) decided it could'nt resist the rag and mussel offering.

More rain was heading in from the Welsh side so it was time to say see ya later to Caldy.

It was a lining put down when they put the rocks in place many years ago.
