Myself and Sven met Steve Duffy at the baths car park at 2.30pm and made our way out to the beach by Seaforth Rocks....the walk is a bit longer than i envisaged (sorry Steve )....anyway we got set up on a beautiful crisp afternoon
Two other lads were fishing from right on the corner of the radar tower

And launches one out
There`s plenty of depth here,with a channel about 50yds out.I was first off the mark with a plump dab
Followed shortly by Steve
We were getting a few knocks but not connecting...maybe our pennel rigs were too much for the probable culprits
Things were pretty quiet til just on low water when i had a whiting
Sven thought i`d reeled his gear in but it was a nice codling of 2-5-0 which gave him the slack line
The first hour of the flood proved most productive,as i took another whiting plus two codling of 2-0-0
and 2-15-0
Not a bad session in the end,and i`m sure it will fish better in the right conditions
We made our way back to the cars (good 15 min yomp) and it was then that Sven realised he`d dropped his rig wallet,containing about 30 assorted rigs We went halfway back to search for it,but it was`nt to be found
Keeeeeebab time we met with a few of the girls and dined at Hall Rd.When we arrived there was already plenty of rods out along the stretch where we`ve been catching,so we had no option but to fish the noddy end by the Coastguard needless to say it was carp...i blanked a few of the others had the odd pin whiting and Tommy codling...very poor,but that`s what you have to expect at Hall Rd
I left my rig wallet at Mariners 2 weeks ago
though it's only a cheap fladden with a rig in, I still feel so sad.
Now I am a fisherman without a rig wallet, but using resealable sandwich bags.
)....anyway we got set up on a beautiful crisp afternoon 
needless to say it was carp...i blanked
