So first off may I say am willing to help this forum as much as I can.
When out fishing I get speaking with lots of other anglers and soon get to know what type of fishing they can do and where .
A lot of people say they have health issues and can't walk far or fast / And are restricted to certain types of venues or don't like being out during the darkness on their own / now I fully understand this having fished with quite a few people that have the above problems . Won't mention names.
But I can at least try and help others on this fishing forum by offering alternatives for them ?
Reason I say this is nearly all my fishing is low water beach fishing I fish lots of easy access and short walk venues / a lot of small tide venues were you are not moving fast with the tide.
Also a large amount of others say they don't like fishing during the darkness for quite a few reasons / safety / don't know the venue that well and could get lost / or just don't understand the tides and how the water moves in and out / or need to be out fishing with other people around.
So here are some venues on the Wirral side of the Mersey / all low water easy short walk and easy fishing .
Perch rock my main target here would be Thornback ray with any other fish possible / any size tide / day or night fishing
GEAR. bigger beach rods / 6oz leads / BAIT. fish baits or squid /
Vale Park my main target again would be Thornback ray and the allusive cod
GEAR bigger beach rods / 6oz leads / BAIT . fish baits or squid /
New Brighton light style fishing for Bass JUST SMALL school bass / Plaice certain months / flounder /
GEAR light 10ft or 12 foot rods 2-4 oz leads / BAIT worms -ragworm black lug or blow lug / squid / prawn / crab
New Brighton mainly winter very light fishing for Dabs / flounder / whiting .
GEAR lure rod or light bass rod 1-3oz leads Bait worms or squid strips .
I WOULD FISH New Brighton prom wall with others off this site for a social fish and meet / but generally this is not the type of fishing I would do.
North Wales
Bull huss from low water venues around the Menai straits .
GEAR bigger rods 6oz leads / BAIT fish baits squid can be done day or night.
Bass from low water or high water plenty of this easy short walk spots that can produce bass.
Gear can use what ever you like / BAITS again what you like I use worms / crab / squid / prawn / fish baits .
Small eyed ray and Thornback ray Anglesey beach low water and high water.
Gear bigger rods or Bass rods 4-6oz leads BAITS fish baits / squid / sand eel / prawn.
If any of the above mentioned fishing is something you would like to try or target a certain fish then leave a reply And I will do my best to help
and give others the chance of trying a different type of sea fishing.
Or if you are able to do fishing without restrictions like long walks or fast moving tides / don't mind being out of a night in a remote area
Then you could post about doing fishing / sorry but i don't do any rock venues knower days.
Cheers Brian.

Good stuff Brian,
I’ll be hitting the west Anglesey beaches again in the autumn for SE Rays, might see you there again.
Was a wash out for me last year tho.
Cheers
Andy
