Question and your response

If you are planning a fishing trip, then let us know the venue and the time, even add meeting place for others to catch up with you.

Question and your response

Post by Local/Brian »

This could be a waste of time ? but I will ask anyway.
Especially as I keep getting told am wasting my time trying to get this site busy ? BUT I DON'T mind wasting my time.

Having looked at the match yesterday that give me something to think about.

My thought is what would other anglers from this site think about. Doing a meet and fish say one weekend in every month ? YES IT'S been done before.
This could be local / North Wales Or just have a chat on here and see who would like to target a certain type of fish or fish a venue you would like to fish but not on your own . Yes straight away I hear your thoughts been there done that it never works or people don't commit / just think its worth a mention as things change and the site always has new people doing things.

We did do Fish & Meets many years ago.Thats how I found this site whilst on a walk at Perch Rock. Most meets were on this side of the river, but I seem to remember one on the Alex wall, which was very successful. The winter and summer league matches could be F & M because you can just turn up and fish them. Many years back I would arrange to take people out to show them how and where you could collect fresh bait. Most times nobody would turn up.  Big Kev used to suffer the same fate. Now days many people work shifts so its sometimes hard to pin down a date.I suppose the only thing is to give it a try and see what the response is.

Yes Mr Duffy know exactly what you are saying it's all  . but as you mention taking people out bait collecting / Unfortunately their is absolutely
loads of things is sea fishing that's just to hard to put in words or explain / you have to be there and actually experience it for someone to understand.

If it like most stuff and get no interest ill just post where and when am going As I have no issue with doing that sort of thing. even if its just local stuff.

Cheers optimistic Brian .

So I have been intouch with Stan Stevo and hopefully we will be getting out bait collecting and fishing both local and North Wales.

I am restricted from now due to driving wife and grandson to and from work so only local fishing on a week day but will be fishing wales of a weekend.
I enjoy fishing with others so long as its not over busy and it is just about fishing and getting on.
So others are welcome to join me or you can wait and see how me and my brother and stan get on.
Cheers Brian
