Island take 2 - 4th October

Post by AndyE »

Well the best laid plans of 28th on the west side of the island have come a cropper thanks to Storm Agnes. Have pencilled in next Wednesday evening. An early dart from work should see me on a beach a couple of hours before low with a bit of daylight to get my bearings, then stay as long as the mood takes me!

Anyone fancy it give me a shout.

Cheers

Hi Andy I have a few sessions planed one of them is Wednesday 4 October looking at the weather its south/west winds and dry conditions. Up to now
So I was thinking fishing one of the small eyed beaches over low water and if its ok probably fish one of the beaches over high or move down and fish the straits in search of Bass .

Cheers Brian.

Thanks Brian,

Keep me posted. And by the way if we do meet up and you are still in the market for a new autumn rod I can pop a couple in the car that you might like to try (I'm a tackle tart!)? Not planning on selling but it might give you a feel for what you'd like?

Cheers

Bloody weather! I might be able to do Monday, get there an hour before low and maybe fish 3 hours…- worth the journey?? Got an early start on Tuesday tho.

Thanks Brian,

I’ll probably target Tyn Tywyn if the weather holds, should be down for the last hour of the ebb and a few hours of the flood.
