16 anglers turned out for this one and the weather looked like it was going to be kind we all made our way down the stones to our chosen spots set up and waited for all in.
Soon enough it was 12 o'clock and all in was called and we all cast in and waited but nothing. To start a few were finding their baits had been stripped but after a couple of re baits even the crabs decided to vanish.
After about an hour the first fish was caught just a weaver and then it went quiet then after another hour Jordan was in and landed a nice Ray of 74cm This lifted spirits a little but to no avail then about 40 mins later Chris James had a ray but still nothing else doing for everyone else until Mike Bishton had a monster 8cm whiting.
You could see fish topping out in front of us which looked like Mullet some looked a decent size Dyl tried bread flake to try and snare one but again without success. Soon enough it was 4 pm and we all made our way back to the cars for the results.
Working out the results didn't take long
1st place on the day was Jordan Roberts with a Ray of 74cm 11 points
2nd place went to Dave Lunt with a Ray of 67cm 10 points
3rd place went to Chris James with a Ray of 66cm 9 points

All in all it was a very poor day but great company as usual and it was nice to see Stuart at the match.
