Round 4 Result Crosby Baths Nov` 27th

[Big Kev]

14 of us made our way out on a new venue for the league...half the field went to the right of the pipe and half to the left.The weather and sea state looked good for a few fish,especially the large flounders that are often taken here,but that was`nt the case. Bang in form Jimmy Redfern fished well to the right with Phil Moscrop and landed a good double shot of mud sharks early on with the best,and longest fish of the day going 38cm.The rest of us were landing whiting in ever increasing numbers as the tide flooded,but few flats were coming out,and those that did were small...6 anglers managed to card the double which always makes a huge difference in the result.
Considering the lay of the land and the popularity of the stretch with walkers n dogs,we shall not be returning for future matches.

well fished jimmy a new venue with many a dog walker luckily for me the dogs didnt have much left for my box having used it all on robs box before hand joking aside more fish than expected and decent weather good to try new venues just too many ignorant people though.
