Longest Fish Pool - Mark Davies...………..Flounder 38cm
Conditions were again tough for Round 9 off the back of the period of rough weather as well as a stiff breeze on the days itself however I don't think anyone expected it to fish as poorly as it did on the flood with not a single fish being seen from any of the 12 rods all the way up to high water.
Thankfully however as the tide turned and the ebb started a few fish came onto the feed and Mark Davies took a double shot of a Dab and a cracking Flounder of 38cm which immediately set the bar very high for the flat part of the combo and would also be enough to see him take the longest fish pool on the day...………………

It was then a case of who could find the combo of a flat and a round with a few lads still struggling to find any fish at all. Dave Roberts then did it in one cast with this Dab and Whiting double shot...………………..

As did Rob Turner with this one...…………..

But it would be on form Mark Davies who would find a good sized Whiting at 35cm to go with his Flounder of 38cm to give him an impressive 73cm combo and the match win.
