I was thinking the same but may try New Brighton as I don't know the beach too well at Formby.

You`ll get rays, dogs and a good chance of hounds at Perch Rock, and the breeze should be behind making it comfortable....my advice is fish @50 yds to the left of Brazil buoy,oh and get down handy to get your spot. I`m expecting little at Formby (best way) but hoping for a good size bass.

I might hook you Kev, although if it calms just a little I might try tomorrow morning. Had a few decent schoolies between 40 and 43 yesterday morning, so they are around. Conditions look about perfect for them.

I’ve got a few peeler I’ll bring along too pal. No harm in having fresh peeler if we’re hunting bass!

Took a look down Blackpool at low earlier, gear in tow just in case. Sea looked good, but I didn’t fancy being grit blasted for a few hours so turned around and headed back. Hopefully it’ll die off a bit tomorrow and I’ll get out for a warm up before Sunday.

I'm only using one rod Ste so they'll be no problem pumping enough lug for both of us ;)
