Match Report: NWASAC Top 30 Final, Otterspool Promenade, Liverpool, Sun 8.1.17 (26 rods).

This eagerly anticipated event saw the best scorers from the 2016 Summer League assemble on a day of damp foggy skies without a breath of wind. The River Mersey was like mirror but sizeable codling were first to show for some with shoals of whiting arriving on cue towards the top of the tide.A few dabs and rockling added variety.
The winner was on-form all-rounder, Phil Simpson, the other zone was won by England International, Heather Lindfield, for second overall.
