Diawa Paul kerry super cast Model number pk 9680-12

Just been given one of these , anybody heard of them , it seems quite a powerful rod with a stiff tip , any info would be appreciated . The whipping is brown with red/ orange and screw reel seat with finger hook .
Is it worth doing up as its a bit tatty ,
