Llandegla 5/4/16

Decided to take advantage of the weather before the wind arrives tomorrow and went to Llandegla for a fluff chucking session. Arrived at 10.30am and bought a 3hr ticket and then off to set up. I'm new to this lark and so I can't tell you all the flies I tried. Suffice to say one was a cat's whisker and the other two were an orange blob of fluff and a white blob of fluff.

I was in 2nd chuck with what turned out to be the best fish of the day



A guy was coarse fishing at the other end of the pool and was having great success, but us fly fishing lot were struggling. About an hour later I got my next take



I missed two takes after this but managed to snare a final one near the end of the session. It looked painfully thin...



No monsters today but it was great to be out in the fresh air
