Hi all

Has anybody owned a Penn Surfblaster?

Really like the look and its a good price, debating on getting one

Got the blaster and the affinity.Great reels for the price and the spools are interchangeable.Get the 7000 as the 8000 is a bit big and clumpy.

Ive got two, great reels Jay. Ive got the 8000s try one of mine if you like then you can have a look at the 7000 and make your mind up. the 7 is a bit lighter. :thumbsup:

I've got two surfs lasers mate and 3 affinitys, decent reels mate, cast great and have handled everything I have thrown at them Jay . However I didn't buy them , I won them and if I had to spend hard earned cash I would go for the shimano ultegras, I've had 5 of them for years and they are excellent.

Shimano Aerlex 7000, similar money but bomb proof ;) Taskers do them
Just accept it, you'll always have sand in your car !!
