Pike fishing - Park Lakes & Southport Sluice/ Drains

Are any of the Liverpool Park Lakes worth trying for Pike - we used to fish newsham but then they drained it so I'm not sure whats in it now?

Also does anyone know who owns the rights to the Southport Drains / Sluice - I remember watching some Gord Burton videos and he seemed to catch loads from there.

ive seen a couple of pike come out of walton....but that was over 20 years ago

probably your best bet would be the canal ( LDA card), ive had a 14lb er from the old roan stretch

the canal up at rufford is chocker with small pike apparently

I will be giving the Brickworks over here a bash for the Pike, last year the biggest out was 26lb and 14+ are regular, also plenty of small jacks around the 5lb mark
