The sun was shining,and we did`nt expect much
After a short while,i managed this nice whiting
We started getting a few knocks,which were mainly small whiting
The odd baby codling came out too.........
Sven got in on the act which was making Davey a bit paranoid....was he gunna be BDF for the day
Davey came good in the end
At 3pm we went for some food,then met up with Dave W and LOL before making our way out to the bank.
We were into some large whiting straight away,plus a few dabs
We were all catching steadily,but no signs of codling for us
The only sizeable fish was a codling of 2-11-0 for LOL who fished 100 yds to the right of us
Not as good as we`d hoped,but it was good to meet up with Col n Dave,who were getting warmed up for the adult and junior match on Sunday
