I must give a shout out to Gaz (GAZZ3R) as I've just had three of my rods repaired by him and what a top job he's done too!

First up the bottom guide on my Century TTSM that I smashed up a few weeks back.

And also my Abu Suveran that had been out of service for some time. Quite an intricate whipping on this one but Gaz nailed it. Superb job!

Thanks for the replies Fella's, I've never done a cane rod although its something I will be looking into, I used to have an old cane rod too when I was younger, I should have practiced on it

Hi gazz3r I have a pr of rods I got when my grandad past away 1 boat rod 1 beach caster both hand made 1 with name on .they are not in best of conditions & when my grandad took me fishing at Llandudno beach he used it all the time so I have fond memories of these rods & would like them repaired I will take some pictures & post them later they must be about 50/55 yr old now lol

You're not wrong Bill...I only went and smashed the tip guide and 3 intermediates on one of my other rods on Friday! I should get into this rod building lark myself!
