Which rod?

I've narrowed down the rod to go with my akios multiplier down to

Daiwa Theory
Penn Rampage
Shakespeare Salt
Abu Esprit

Has anyone got or had one of these with any more info. Mostly for Mersey fishing with the odd rock mark.

Apart from the Esprit which only comes in one length and now only rung for multiplier use all the others come in long or shorter versions so you need to narrow it down a little also between the cheapest Shakey £60 and the dearest Daiwa there is £100 difference so they dont really compare,between the Rampage and the Esprit similar priced the Penn would shade it.
Towards the higher end of your budget at £125 I would also include the Icon M power probably in the Match model as a better rod than all the ones on your list.

We have in stock all three versions of the M power,all the same price £125 or if you want to save £26 the Greys GRXS is about the best rod under £100 although we have a few Titanium K2s left in 14 foot which are also £99 reduced from £189 that are very good but not normally that price.

However I been searching for a pair of new Beachcasters.
And came across this thread.

I was looking at the Abu Esprit and the Penn Rampage (13ft)

However the Penn is putting me off as its a 3 piece and for some reason I just dont fancy a 3PC rod.

I dont fish much rough ground, but i do from time to time.

Ken, do you have any offers on for two Rods around £70-£100 mark? (Each)

That are on par or even better than the Penn or Abu?

The best rod under £100 just, In my opinion is the Greys GRXS but we have sold a lot of Esprits which are a little heavier and a bit cheaper.
Leeda also have an Icon beach 13' which is below the M power series that is above your budget at £125 but still a nice blank and available about £80.
All of these are two piece 13' rods.

Some sound advice from Ken.

The only thing that I would chip in is that I bought a 15' K2 about two months ago (£100) while I was waiting for another rod and have used it a lot. For the money I think it's pretty good. I certainly wouldn't worry about it being three piece. I'm using it with a fixed spool though.

Ken, You are doing the M Sports £10 cheaper than anywhere else I have seen.
