Got kids this weekend ,and such a nice day ,we decided fish our local free pond .pint maggots ,bag brown crumb ,tin of sweet corn ,sorted ..
Jack fished on is own .jacks peg,lovely looking spot ..

Loads of little baby toads about ,plus the odd frog as well ..

While they where all setting up I nipped back home with little Libby to do some butties feed the hungry tribe ...
They where all soon bagin , I fished with little freedie to help him ..
Alfie soon started catching

Then he had a bream ...

Jack wouldn't let me take any pics of him ,he going through that teenager stage lol ,but he was doing all right on his own ..Freddie was sitting with me and I was helping him ,he had all these on a whip and sweet corn ,made up for him he was so excited ,each pic of these bream is a different one he had four ,while i was on my mobi ,I left him four five mins on his own ,then he came running over in a panic as a fish had pulled the whip out of his hands and took his pole to the middle of the pool lol. We did get it back ,casting over it with jacks feeder lol ...

We had a very enjoyable day and .cost next to nothing .. Get your kids of there game consoles and get them out in the fresh air ,they will thank you for it!!!

Quality time with the bin lids, outdoors, fishing, and smiley faces what more could you ask for ? :clap: Well done Tim

I'm just of out myself with the lad who's taken a liking to fly fishing :D so a few hrs with him then it's Bass hunting for me

Quality time spent with your kids...they appear to be quick learners and it won't be long before they're teaching you a thing or two I'm sure! :lol:

Seems to me that they already catch more fish :lol:
