Match Report: 8th Round of NWASAC Personal Members Championship 2013, Sun 11.8.13, Bromborough, Wirral (23 rods).


The disused wharf high up the Mersey Estuary was on fair form and there were some good catches of flounders and eels with Prenton's John S. Williams leading for much of the match. However, over high water, two thornback rays were landed by Bill Lindfield and Ian Brookes with Ian's big enough two give him the win from Zone A plus the roundfish pool and joint flatfish pool. Other species caught were Dover soles and a solitary bass.
In Zone B, John Waugh accumulated a bag of flounders and eels to win the zone and take second place.
In the championship, Bill Lindfield’s lead is just one point over John Baguley.
