Match Report: 2nd round of NWASAC Summer League, 19.5.13, Queensferry, Flintshire (40 rods).


Flounder made up the majority of the catches at this tidal channel of the River Dee upstream of Queensferry. Eels were also landed but not in the expected numbers. Match HQ for the day was the Queensferry Hotel near the famous Blue Bridge over the Dee.
Birkenhead’s Ian Brookes took the win while the runner-up, match organiser, Bill Lindfield included the longest flatfish of the day in his 253 cms measure and release total.
