bannister house fishery

Post by alf - big al »

Decided to stay close to home for a couple of sessions on the old pond at bannister house in tarleton, well mere brow actually, a venue that throws up some top class match weights, but also some amazing pleasure catches too.
i decided the old pond would be the target and fished shallow as well as on the bottom. the bottom was baited with hemp and 4 and 6 mm pellets, corn and luncheon meat cubes, a liberal amount of all, meat corn pellets and prawns were the hookbaits.
shallow (at about 18 ins) i fed micro pellets constantly and fished the above on the hook.

my chosen peg had plenty of features
