Match Report: 4th round of N.W.A.S.A.C. Personal Members Championship, Sun 29.4.12, Queensferry, Flintshire

Severe weather prompted a relocation from Connah’s Quay to the more sheltered Blue Bridge section of the upper Dee Estuary. Floodwater reduced catches to a few flounders which proved reluctant to feed and the incoming tide was held back.
One of the best known faces from the Wirral match scene of a few years ago, Paul Bonner, made a rare appearance and won the match with three flounders to demonstrate that he is still a force to be reckoned with.
Unusually for this venue, no eels were recorded.
