Anyone tried one, they are on offer at the moment & I wondered what they were like.

Only £50 i think got to be worth a try. Even if its not that good it would great for a back up.

they were all re called soon after launch - also think they have now been discontinued so it may be a case of buyer beware :idea:

There were a few with a dodgy anti reverse but i & a few folk i know have a 6 & 7 gmag & they are sound reels cant fault em had em well above 12 months now had plenty use uptiding as i said cant fault em. Its like the penn mag side plates cracking i keep reading about but mine are sound i guess its like anything else youre gonna get a bad batch somewhere along the line personally if i were you i would get one while theyre cheap

I know sorry. It looks ok for £50 but from the reviews it sounds very poor quality ;)

There must have been more than a few as ALL reels in tackle shops were recalled and not available for over 18 months

Got a Mag Elite for £54 instead, the Green one. Roll on next week then I can play out. :lol: :lol:
