Hi,I'm trying to get my mates reel (Abu 6500CT3 Mag Hi-speed) sorted. He bought it in August and after using it three times it started playing up.
Jerky retrieve,poor casting distance,breaks being unpredictable.
I've opened it up to clean and have a look at it for him but cant spot anything obvious. Now I'm struggling to put back together coz of the clutch springs etc etc
Bought the reel from Morton Angling Centre but now changed ownership,I believe Pete did a lot of servicing for Chris at MAC,can anyone PM or E-mail me Pete's number please??

Cheers lads,i'll phone him tomorrow. Hopefully 1 bag of reel bits on way to Morton ! Just in case the gears are shredded,what are Abu likely to do if returned under warranty?? Replace or refund? Ive heard this reel was prone to problems like this.
