First of the Summer league saw 34 anglers fishing this low water venue on the Mersey. .Fishing was poor due to lack of fish and no movement in the water with this unusually mild April.
Welsh International Phil House stormed ahead with 8 fish, 5 more than anyone else with a mixture of Dabs, Whiting , Codling and Flounder.
Another excellant result was had for Pm,s secretary Richard Burrows who found himself yet again on the podium. Well done to all taking part.
