i am looking for a place to go fishing on the mersey this coming saturday, high tide is at 13:25, with a 8.84m tide, where is the best place to go that is quite sheltered. will jaguar house produce the fish?

Alright Luggy laaaaaaaaaaa,hope you enjoyed your hols (did`nt get a postcard :evil: ) this Sat`s afternoon tide is actually 9.0m,which is pretty big for the likes of Jag House...you will have a very strong current and plenty of muck to contend with :? it will still be fishable if you cast short :idea:

Yes,Town Hall Steps is much better on the bigger tides,as the groynes cut out a lot of the flow ;)

Its roles reversed for Kev and myself these days Iain. The lads love their footy but in years to come they will probably return to their fishing. Its the older Generation we accommodate for. I've even taken on Millsy for the Brid pairs team!....a surrogate Waddy...at least thats what the pm's suggest!

Me and the Lass were thinking about an early doors trip to Perch Rock saturday morning just the weather bothering me I can't get a decent accurate forecast and being well inland looking outside doesnt cut it any ideas??
