Match Report- Round 2 of 2010 N.W.A.S.A.C. Personal Members Championship, Sun 14.3.10, Maddock Bank, Egremont (27 rods).


Small codling were the target on a dry evening on this low water bank in the Mersey Estuary. Frozen crab or razor fish were the essential baits.
Bill Lindfield opened his account with a double header and saw off the challenge of Phil House despite his landing the only decent fish of the match, a codling of 54 cms. They were neck and neck in Zone A until Bill caught a dab on his last cast to take the win, the flatfish pool and the series lead.
2009 Champion, John Waugh was second from Zone B.
