ledsham with new pole

Post by FishingFreakJack »

today i knew i wasnt going to be pulling 100lb plus of carp out but i had high hopes for the best fishery in the world

my swim

my approch today was a method feeder and a pole mainly i was planing on fishing pellets corn and a big lob but i took out a bit of insurance by buying half a pint of maggots (i needed them)

my first fish a nice roach 1 third of a pound mabey more

it took me ages to catch this second one

after these two i hit a shoal of small ones i had 20 of them when i got bored of the roach stripping the sweetcorn off the hook i decided to put a fake piece on it sure tricked this 3 pounder carp

Image

the fishing was hard today i started at 12 and fished till 4 ish not to cold nobody else had caught anything on the pond to my surprise as in the summer you can easily catch 25 30 carp to 10lb in a 5 hour sesion there plus golden tench big bream cracking goldfish and priceless big roach
