Century TTM II Rod sections locked - Can anyone pls help?

i dont think heating the joint works,because i always thought carbon "shrinks" when heated,,,,,,,,also we used to use candlewax on worn or loose joints,,,,,you went to the right place in the end,,sound lads ;)

BEWARE MATE......i had exactly the same experience with a WR300.When i went out with it the next session i cleaned it in half!.Broke at the join,i was totally oops off.When i contacted Century they weren't too interested,and suggested that i contact Gerrys of Morecambe where the rod was purchased.Another slight problem then revealed itself,Gerrys had failed to provide a registration card at the point of sale,so basically nobody was interested whatsoever!.Just bought myself a conoflex now,so we'll see how we get on with that,its actually got a spigot which i prefer so we'll see.
