Have I really got to spend £100 + ?

Post by Patrick1964 »

I bought a cheap beachcasting combo to get me going last year, and I'd like to upgrade the rod. Everything mentioned on here costs £100 +, I realise that in the grand scheme of things this isn't a fortune but what with my other hobbies (not to mention the fact I'd like to buy a boat setup and a new beach reel soon) it's more than I can justify at present. Can anyone recommend a good buy, new or second hand, for beach / pier work off the North Wales and Anglesey coasts for up to about £70 please ?

Anyone got anything to sell (beach or boat) that's worth having ?

Cheers
