I was late!, No bacon butty for me. Mind you i could do with a few less calories
Dave had a little play with the camera and got a shot of the mob unloading their cars...

I paid my dues and drew peg 21, which happened to be half-way round the lake

I got my gear ready and had a good think as to where i would fish...

It was a very windy day, the island in front of me, gave plenty of shelter from the wind...

To my left, i could only see Joe fishing in the distance...

Colin was two pegs up on the right, with Chris & (Carol..spectating) the one after...

I decided to fish the track at eight pole sections. Bait was Meat, Corn, Caster & Maggot. I could see plenty of very small fish all over the swim, So i opted to start with caster...

After 5 mins of nothing. A quick change to meat brought instant results. This was my main form of attack through the match. Though i did try the inside for a while and was plagued by bits.
Chris was having a hell of a time with the blustery weather. He managed to pick a few fish up on the feeder...

The fishing was on and off, more so off, for most of the match. I kept plugging away with luncheon meat, picking up Ide, Barbel, Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd and Tench...

These fish gave me a total of 18lb 8oz. Only enough for fourth in the section. I enjoyed today and the rain stayed away...

Well done again to Humpalumpa Phil, 69lb+ Win
